The SC7000 with its modular cubic design offers single or dual sided retransfer printing. The printer is unique for combining the highest quality with the smallest footprint as well as the lowest cost of ownership for high volume ID card printing.

The SC7000 printer is the culmination of technological development and is the most innovative card printer available on the ID card printer market nowadays. Ideal for both simple and advanced applications such as single sided membership cards, gift cards, on demand ID cards or for corporate and governmental ID card printing purposes.

 2. True Edge-to-edge Printing - True edge -to-edge printing is achieved through the process of printing on retransfer film and then transferring the image.

3. Supports a Wide Variety of Card Printing

  • Wide variety of card materials - Printing on non-PVC-type cards, on which direct printing methods cannot be print.
  • Cards with an uneven surface - For example, the uneven surfaces of smart cards containing microelectronics can be printed on.
  • Easy on the printing head - As the printing head does not come into direct contact with the card surface, foreign particles cannot cause damage to the printing head.
  • Bend Remedy - Advanced bend remedy function for ISO flatness of the printed cards.

  • Low running cost - Ink ribbon (YMCK) and retransfer film cartridges allow more than 1,000 images to be printed, enabling low-cost high–volume printing to be achieved.

New Features

  • Security Erase - To protect disclose of individual personal information, the SC 7000 incorporates a mechanism to make the remaining image on the K (black) ink ribbon illegible. Supported Ribbons - YMCK, YMCKK, YMCKUV.
  • Sublimation UV - By utilizing the characteristics of retransfer technology, printing with sublimation UV ink has been achieved. Printed UV image cannot be seen under normal light. Moreover, image can be graded.
  • Supports IP sec Data Encryption Protocol & Encoding Via Network - Data misuse by unauthorized access can be prevented by data encryption of IPsec by incorporating dedicated hardware for higher encryption and decryption. Possible to encode via network.
  • Dual Interface - USB 2.0 / Ethernet - In addition to the existing USB 2.0 interface, 10 Base - T/ 100 Base - TX Ethernet interface have been equipped. Multiple PCs can control multiple printers by setting up the required network architecture.
