 e- Campus is a multi-application card solution used to manage student ID, access control, attendance tracking, and library usage. The same card can also be used on vending machines, to make payments for photocopying, printing & at the cafeteria. The system connects to a central server and provides comprehensive reports on the usage of various services to the management. The system can monitor the facilities used by both students and faculty members.
Vending: It is common today for Colleges and University Campuses to use vending machines for dispensing Chocolates, Cool Drinks and Snacks. e-Campus solution can be integrated with most vending machines and the student has the advantage of paying by card instead of coins.
Canteen: e-Campus gives us the advantage of paying for canteen purchases by Card instead of Cash avoiding the need of carrying Cash by the students. Integrated with the canteen POS, e-Campus makes the transaction faster and efficient.
Photocopying and Printing: Usage of photocopiers and printers could be controlled by the usage of the e-Campus Card instead of a token system or a Cash payment system. The amount of usage will be automatically deducted form the card holder. The Card could be re-charged on attaining zero balance through an in-house Cash-Bank which will accept Cash and load onto the Card.
Access Control: The same Smart Card is used for Access Control and for PC log on applications.
Fee and Fine Payments: Since the card contain the cash, other payments like fees, library fines and bus fees could be paid from the card.
e- Campus solution will make the entire campus a cashless environment by improving the efficiency and enhancing the security.
