uPASS Target – Nedap Identification Systems
The UPASS Target employs passive UHF technology to get accurate, safe, and secure readings about vehicle and driver details. Passive UHF technology is ideal in high-density traffic environments as it facilitates immediate identification of vehicles and drivers using passive tags or cards. While it can seamlessly integrate with existing systems, it can restrict access to unauthorized personnel with EPC Gen2 V2 tags so that security is improved at even the busiest of facilities.
Key Benefits
- Extended Range: It can read vehicles at a maximum of 15 meters (50 feet).
- Customizable Read Range: While the maximum read range is 15 meters UPASS Target can be customized to read targets within this range. That way the read range can be customised as per facility requirements.
- Secure Communication: Communication channels are secured due to compliance with EPC Gen 2 standards. For data protection, it has OSDP v2 support.
